Tell us about one of your favorite farm projects
“I love story telling, they say that social media posts that include people get more traction, and I believe including farmers and families in images is an important part of farm marketing. I was able to photograph a mother-daughter cheese making team and it was one of my all-time favorites.”
Why do you work with farmers?
“ I was a farmer so I like house my talents to create more business for local food entrepreneurs. I love being on farms. I recently sold our farm and market. Look at Maine Beer Shed or Running Wild Farm on Instagram to see how we promoted our own business in the past. Although they are mostly iPhone images.”
What’s in your kit?
“I have a Nikon DSLR, a Nikon mirrorless and 4 lenses I bring to most shoots. Micro, 50mm fix,24-70 and a 70-200 all in a Dakine backpack for easy mobility.”
What’s your lighting setup?
“I am mostly a natural light photographer but I do have an on camera flash with Wong diffuser.”
