Tell us about one of your favorite farm projects
“Last year I did a video project for The Ecology Center about their Community Table dinner series, which connects farmers and food artisans and really drives home the importance of having strong connections between what we eat and how it's grown. You can watch it here.”
Why do you work with farmers?
“Because food is a huge part of everyone's lives, yet culturally we've become incredibly disconnected from the process by which it's actually grown, and that has created lots of problems in our food system, including the exploitation of farmers and devaluing of their crops and labor. I'm eager to do what I can to help farmers feed people, support themselves, and care for the land.”
What’s in your kit?
“Sony FX3 for video, Sony A7III for photos, Sony 24mm GM 1.4 lens, Sony 50mm GM 1.2 lens, many vintage Canon lenses, large Godox LED lights for video interviews, Godox V1 flash, Rode shotgun mic, Rode lav mic, Weebil S gimbal, DJI Air2S drone, Atomos monitor, other miscellaneous gear.”
What’s your lighting setup?
“ have two large godox LED lights for video interviews and a Godox V1 flash. I can shoot in any lighting.”
