Tell us about one of your favorite farm projects
“Here in Jacksonville, we have The Man in Overalls. He builds and maintains raised beds and food gardens for individuals, schools and businesses and is a great advocate for "growing your own groceries".”
Why do you work with farmers?
“I'm passionate about the effort that is put into food before it's actually food- for small growers and farmers alike. But I also think farmers are a dying breed and their efforts and stories need to be just as nurtured as the food they grow.”
What’s in your kit?
“Canon 6D, 50mm, 100mm macro. And 2 speed lights, soft boxes, assorted tripods/c-stand when I need artificial light.”
What’s your lighting setup?
“Along with doing commercial and editorial food photography, I've been working in a product photography studio for the last 5 years. I work mainly with speed lights/soft boxes when photographing food, but use Profoto flashes and Aperture LEDS when photographing products.”
