Website for Healing by Growing Farms
We worked with Dr. Ivette Ruiz, the founder and farmer of non-profit Healing by Growing Farms, to design a Squarespace website.
By using on of our tried-and-true farm website templates, the Grapevine team was able to quickly build and launch the new site, customizing it to match the farm’s existing logo and branding.
The fully customized Squarespace website includes:
✔️ Accessible design: Healing by Growing Farms offers support for brain injury & trauma survivors worldwide, so accessible design was a large component of our design work. We ensured text is easy to read across the website, colors are high contrast, and the site is overall compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and follows Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
✔️ Detailed Services & Resources: We organized website content to make key information easy to find, including details about services like training and their Farm to Home (F2H) basket program, and resources for mental health and wellness.
✔️ Blog & Events: This section is where visitors can stay up to date on support events, conference recaps, and so much more.
✔️ Links to Shop & Donate: We included links out to the non-profit’s existing online Printify shop and their donation platform Stripe.
We also provided Ivette and her team with a live training call to show them everything they need to know in order to ensure that the website continues running smoothly.
