Report Design for NWI Food Council

We designed this annual report for NWI Food Council in Northwest Indiana. They wanted a bright, hopeful color scheme with lots of photos.

We used colored bars across each photo to restate the food council’s five key focus areas: Championing Local Food, Cultivating Connections, Supporting Urban Farming, Advancing Agriculture, and Promoting Food Justice. We also took photos of food council board members holding “thank you” signs with sponsor logos — a tactic we originally developed for their social media posts. We found this to be an especially effective way to promote sponsors and ensure that they feel appreciated.
